Often we receive e-mails or letters from people who have been touched by Room211 in a unique way. Here are some of those stories....

| I thought your sermon today was great (not that they always aren’t, but sometimes there are things that just really strike a chord). I continue to be amazed how you are blessed with such a talent to take everyday life and issues and use it to send such a powerful message in your sermon. He truly does incredible work though you and the whole Room211 team. |

Today we attended worship in Room 211 for the 4th or 5th time! We absolutely LOVE the service! We've never been disappointed! My husband and I actually reside in Norfolk, Nebraska (2 hrs North of Lincoln) and attend worship with you all whenever we're in town to visit! Last year we had the most wonderful Easter worship at your service with my Mom, before she passed. I have to tell you, your worship service will always hold a very very special place in my heart (not that it doesn't normally), but it's an Easter I'll cherish forever!
Your service is real, it's inspiring, and completely uplifting!
After we've attended the 211 service, we always have the message from Sunday on our minds all week! Lately, I've been taking the scripture from Sunday and creating a background on our home computer! We then have another reminder of the service and of God's message!
Thank you so much for all you do!

Just wanted you to know that Cindy and I talked for quite awhile about the service last night. The music was great. We really felt moved by your sermon on ashes. During your sermon, I thought about my Dad, who was in a wheelchair and didn't recognize any of us when he was in the nursing home and how he went running to hug Jesus and how someday I will get to do that too! |

Hello,
I was visiting family and joined them for your service Sept 6th. Very nice!! The songs we all sang really hit me hard that day, as if they were made for me, for what I needed to hear and sing. Thank you!!

Great message yesterday. I thoroughly enjoy the messages at Room211. They embed intellect, practicality and it's all biblically grounded. I always want to know more about God's word and Room211 does a great job of incorporating it each Sunday and in a way that everyone (even the non-biblical scholars) can understand and apply. Thank you so much. |

We were out of town last Sunday, but I just read your sermon on line and listened to the final song America The Beautiful. That was a fantastic message!!! We are so blessed in this country to be able to worship in freedom. I have friends who are missionaries to the Muslim people in Lebannon and those people who do come to Christ are severely persecuted by their families, neighbors, etc. Anyone who claims America was not founded on Christian principles needs a big history lesson. Thanks for a great message. |

| We've become members about a year ago, and we cannot express how much stronger our Faith has become since we've become members. We are truly blessed to be members of Christ Lutheran each and every week were excited to come to church, to hear the word and sing songs of praise. Room 211 band is amazing, Pastor Scheich, your message each week touches us our hearts and has forever changed us. |

The Room 211 service was amazing. I am so thankful for the friends and acquaintances that encouraged me to attend. It was divine intervention that led me to Room 211 and I thank God for leading me back to a place I feel his love and presence. I look forward to next Sunday. |

Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed all of the services leading up to and including Easter morning! We actually arranged our out-of-town trips for Easter around those 3 services so that we wouldn't miss any! Even 9 year old Ryan was on the edge of his seat for the Thursday AND Friday services!
Anyway, I've been wanting to tell you again how much we enjoy ALL of the Room 211 services, and to thank you for doing this. I understand the amount of hard work that goes into all of the new ideas (and then carrying those out) . . .and wanted you to know how powerful this service is for so many people.
And Steve and the band . . . wow. What a blessing! Steve makes it all look so easy . . . and always sounds great. |

We just wanted to take a minute and thank you so much for the work you do at Room 211. All my life I was raised in another denomination and as time went on I found myself feeling less and less like I fit in. While my Husband and I were both raised in that other denomination, he became Lutheran when his parents got divorced. I had decided that while I had never wavered in my faith in God maybe organized religion was just not going to be for me. Both my husband and I thought we were ok with that until we adopted our son and realized that we owed him a chance to grow up with "organized" religion. As we tried to reconnect with the church of our youth, we found it was just not where we felt comfortable. That is when my best friend invited me to Room 211. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to her for that. During that first service I almost cried as I had never felt so welcome and comfortable at church. We have been coming regularly since then and I just finished taking the "So What's is a Lutheran" class so we can join officially.
I just want you to know what a change you have made in our family's life and how much you have given to me personally in terms of deepening my faith. I work with troubled kids in my work and so often we talk to them about how you cannot fill a God shaped hole in your life with anything but God. I never thought I had a God shaped hole in my life, just an organized religion one. What I have learned through Room 211 is that I did have that hole in my life and now it is filled. I never thought I could feel the peace that I find in private prayer in a church but Room 211 has shown me that it is possible. It has been a true blessing in our lives! For the extra light and closeness to God that you have brought to our family, we cannot thank you enough! Just wanted to let you know what a tremendous difference you have made in our family's life! |

I just wanted to thank you and all who make each Sunday Morning in Room 211 possible. Your sermons each Sunday have a profound way of bringing the bible into every day life. I so enjoy coming to church, I think the videos, drama, etc really keep me focused. The music and coffee is also a major plus. |

I've continued to think about the sermon last week - I love 211 and your sermon made me really evaluate what makes it so special for me. For me it is how well you "connect" the Word into the sermon - I think it is very powerful to actually see and read the Bible verses that illustrate your points during the sermon. I was reflecting on the people who have shared how 211 changed their lives and often it was an actual Bible verse that "spoke" to them. I really think God is able to use media in a powerful way but even more importantly I feel that God is using you and the worship team in a POWERFUL way. Thanks for "hearing" and responding to God's leading when it comes to 211. |

Merlin and I both really enjoyed today's service. It was so positive and also informational ~ as usual. You have been blessed with a rare gift to present God's word in a scripturally sound meaningful way, using multi-media and music, which helps us realize the relevance of the Word and His blessings to us in today's world.
So take heart! Keep up the good work and keep us all coming back for more. With the help of the visuals used in Room 211, even at my age, I have come to a greater understanding of some of the scriptures where the meaning has always slightly eluded or confused me. |

My daughter & I were at Room 211 on Sunday, and I just wanted to convey our pleasure in worshipping with you all! We've been at 211 several times since its inception and this past Sunday was probably one of our favorites. Your musicians have really tweaked the sound quality and it's been a delight to visit and see how your service has matured! Blessings on your day. |

My name is Yvette. I have come to visit Room211 the last two Sundays. I was raised Missouri Synod and am a member currently of .... in Lincoln. I was invited to come to Room211 with my friends .... I have been really moved by the life and energy of this service and your church. Room 211 is very unique to Lincoln! |

I was born into a LCMS church and have been a church-goer all of my life. It wasn't until my daughter and wife coaxed me into attending a Room 211 service that I truly felt a connection between worship and God. Previously, I went to church out of habit and went through the motions while glancing at my watch. That has changed since my family and I started attending Room 211. We all look forward to the next service and we discuss everything about it during the week. We have even become hooked on the music and drove to Kearney recently to attend a Newsboys concert. I want to thank the entire ministry team for your efforts every week. You have made a difference in my life and my family as well. My parents have also decided to join Christ as a result of Room 211. God Bless you all. |

| My mama is a single mother of two, and my brother and I are grown, but we all wanted a church to attend together. My brother was hesitant to go to church because he has gauged ears and tattoos. It did take prying to get him to go to Room211, but when he went he felt free to be himself. He understood the Bible and God, and is starving for more. The way the message is put into words and situations that are relevant to us helped greatly, and was AMAZING. The series on comparing Islam to Christianity was like going to school and LOVING the professor. Thanks for all you do! |

Ever since last service at room 211 i have had one of their songs stuck in my head. and it's driving me insane because i don't know what the title is, and i would like to buy it on itunes. So, do you think there would be any way that you could email me back and tell me the songs we sang at the church service on December 30th? that would be amazing. thanks! (Bailey is in 8th grade) |

I have been struggling with my faith since I graduated high school in May of 2006. After not attending church for over a year except for Christmas and Easter services and about three other Sundays I was told to check out Room 211 by my old youth group leader. The first Sunday I attended the band sang "Blessed Be Your Name" and I was moved to the point of tears. Through your church I have found my faith in Christ again and every Sunday refreshes me and reminds me that though I may stumble God will always be there for me. I cannot describe to you how important your service is to my life and what a change it has made for me. Blessings to you all! |

My daughter went to KS w/friends to play, eat, swim and shop. You would think at age 11 those would be the highlights of the weekend--but when she got home on Sunday she had a list of 3 songs from church (a contemporary service like ours) and couldn't wait to pull them up off of i-tunes on the computer and share them w/us. She was thrilled to be able to e-mail them to you. I sat back and watched the excitement on her face as she found them and sent them on to you. This is how Room211 has blessed our family and makes church exciting to our teenagers!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! |

I had the rare opportunity for the first time since we left Christ Lutheran to visit Room 211. It was an awesome worship experience for me personally. Its really great to see how far you have come from those disappointing early attempts when we were still members. The musicians were great, the sound and lighting was I thought just right, and even for an old 65 year old fart among a lot of much younger people, I felt welcome. You must have a great staff to work with. You are doing something I think is very significant for Lincoln in a MO Synod congregation . It is awesome what you are accomplishing. |

Today was another amazing Room211 service. Thanks for blessing so many people. The drama team was excellent, Steve and the worship band were wonderful and your message was great! Using Bibles during the service is perfect and making them available for those who may not possess a Bible is truly a blessing!
Ron and I were discussing today how we hate to be out of town for the Room 211 service and find ourselves trying to plan around them. We will miss Session 3 and regret it already. The message, the music, the drama--everything was moving!!!

Hello! I got your post card and I went on your site to check out what you are doing to reach youth. I went into your Room211 area in the site and I clicked to listen to the music played in Room211 and WOW! I love it. I have it just playing in the background on my computer now. Are all of these recording artists or are some of these songs from your praise group? This is the music we need. I love it. I am in tears listening to this music! These songs are so moving. Which several of them we do in our praise service, but not anything like this!!!! Wow! Keep Going!!!! Keep the spark you guys have got going there! I hope we can manage a small part of this! Because this will move a generation of people to be believers! Great Job! God has blessed you all! He will continue to bless you! You are truly worshipping God in our time in the way that this generation will understand and come to know Christ because of this way of worshiping HIM! I could go on but I won't. God bless!

I wanted to let you know what happened to me last night. My 13 year-old daughter and I were in the car listening to the radio. A Michael W. Smith song came on the radio and she remembered that particular song being used at the Good Friday service last year! She commented about how she still remembers and was spiritually moved during that particular service. It boggles my mind that my teenage daughter still remembers a Good Friday service that happened over a year ago. What price can I, as her father, put on that? Amazing!

After several years of trying, I was finally able to get my parents to join my wife and me in church. They attended Easter service with us and a wonderful thing happened, they enjoyed themselves and felt revived. I would like to help them continue along this path, however they live in Sioux Falls, SD where I am unfamiliar with church services. Now I know I would like to find something for them. Are you by any chance familiar with any contemporary Lutheran services in Sioux Falls? Please help me find my parents a place to worship where they will feel comfortable.

| Wanted to drop you a line just to let you know how much Jo and I enjoyed Easter and the dramas leading up. It’s great to witness the talent we have in the church and the ability to take advantage of it. Much preparation goes into the services (probably much more than I’m aware) and I just wanted to thank you all. Thanks So Much and may God continue to bless you and the ministry efforts at CLC |
